The Ultimate Ride

I'm leaving for an approximately 400 mile bike tour of Spain today! My Spanish is poor and my conditioning is not great but I'm more excited than nervous at this point. Figuring out how to pack seventeen days worth of gear into two 7"x12"x 13" saddlebags has been my biggest challenge but I'm packed and ready to go. The ride breaks down into roughly four legs of one hundred miles. Malaga to Seville. Seville to Cordoba. Cordoba to Grenada. And Grenada back to Malaga. A map of the region is below.
I'm arriving in Malaga via Air France on Friday November 13. I'm staying at the Down Town Hostel in Malaga (Pasaje de Clemens 11, Phone # 34 952223292) on Friday and pedaling to Ronda on Saturday. The ride is approximately 50 miles and I'm anticipating a alot of climbing. I rode 50 miles of hills last Saturday with 30 pounds of gear so this ride is in my wheelhouse. Staying at Hotel Polo (Mariano Soubiron, 8, Ronda, Phone # 34 952 872447) on Saturday and checking out the town on Sunday. On Monday, I'm riding for Seville. Gotta run for the airport now. More details to come.
